TIP
OF THE WEEK
LOBS
When playing tennis and using the lob it’s important to get the lob high
and deep. Imagine a line between the service line and the baseline. When you
lob and try for depth, aim for the service line and your lob will probably
land at the middle line. Learn to feel the depth needed for your lobs. How
do you work on lobs, of course practice them. Remember you have backhand lobs
as well. The mark of a strong 3.5 player is a decent backhand lob. A great
backhand lob will get you closer to the 4.0 level. Remember to follow your
lobs into net.
Have a great day on the tennis court.
