The ABTL is a non-sanctioned tennis league for men and women
of all ages and playing levels.
How it works:
The idea of the league is to play singles once a week against a scheduled
opponent. You contact your opponent and schedule a mutually agreeable
time and place to play. The league is extremely flexible with scheduling,
making it possible to get your matches in despite your very busy
personal schedule. We realize how busy summers can be so we have
included periodic bye weeks where no matches are scheduled, but
matches can be made up from prior weeks if they have not been played.
The league offers 13 matches and runs from April through August.
In August we have an ABTL tournament that runs around 4 days. Everyone
in the league is invited to play in the tournament and seedings
for the tournament are based on league results. During the finals
of the tournament we give away lots of free stuff from our sponsors,
and we hope to have another free pizza party. You can’t
go wrong when free food is involved!
Competition:
The ABTL caters to whatever playing level you’re at. So
no matter if you’re a 3.0 or an open level player, we have
a spot for you. We have all age ranges represented in the league
as well, from players in their late teens all the way to players
in their late 60's. So no matter what your age or gender you
will fit in just fine.

PDF files are sent to all players to keep people up to date on scheduling. However
the ABTL webpage is your one stop source for all your information.
On the webpage you will find:
- Weekly schedules
- All scheduled matches for the summer
- Results for each match
4) Power rankings (How you rank to everyone else)
5) Personal statistics for each player. We have current and
prior years info.
6) Personal contact information for all players
- Links to local tennis courts in your area.
- You can download the ABTL podcast which comes out around once
or twice a month. The purpose of the show is to keep everyone
in the league updated on the activities of league play and to provide
a little entertainment.
